Picture Update

Just a few pictures to keep the blog interesting!

26 weeks pregnant!

Kymber and her bestie outside posing...

Easter

I think I'm way due for another Albright update post!

I finally found my camera! This is why Easter post has been neglected...until now!

Alan was soo cute when it came to Easter. He refused to let me help with Xander's basket and informed me that I had Kymber's and he would take care of bubba's. Now, some may think it's completely insane to give a 10 month old an Easter basket, but in my house we celebrate every holiday!

I was beyond excited to find out that it was my holiday with Kymber this year! Her dad had her Friday evening until Saturday evening and we got her the rest of the weekend. We didn't go completely out on Easter although we did get them plenty of candy to munch on!

Flu Bug

Tis the season for the flu and this one seems like it's spreading like the plague!!  It hit my poor Xander first and broke my heart when he'd thow up cause at 11 months old you have zero idea what's going on.Thank heavens it didnt last very long!! It was over with by the morning but I am still, after many days, am still changing bedding and nasty diapers in the mornings. Of course I was the one who tended to him and was closest to him so I caught it next. It was soo bad I was having contractions and the mid wife said it should be gone by the morning but if not to call her. Well, it wasn't. And so my lovely day began of having my mom come help watch the kids cause I could hardly move I was hurting so bad and soon as Alan got home I had to run to the hospital to have the baby monitored and get some fluids in me. A lovely 5 hours at the hospital and I was sooo ready to get out of there. Sure made a world of difference though!
Like I said, it spreads like the plague and it seems like everyone either has had it or is getting it. Alan got it , but Kymber never did. Only as cold which is leaving her voice half way gone and her up all night coughing. I end up on the couch because I can hear it and keeps me awake at night worrying about her. I'm glad its over and now we can start enjoying the sunshine that's coming our way!

23 weeks

The only reason I am posting this picture I promised an updated preggo pic and because my bestie Kristin took the time to take it for me...So here I am. 23 weeks pregnant.  Clothes barely fit and every Sunday I am defeated by my Sunday Wardrobe because I am now too big for any this else but my plain black maternity skirt and maternity dress that makes me look the size of Texas.

Mod Podge Picture frame

This is probably one of the simplest and cheapest projects I've done in a while.I decided to do it just for Kymber. I got her a pictures frame also from the local dollar store so that she could have a project to do and be proud of it. She didn't end up doing much with hers but I had fun with mine!

Mod Podge is prob one of my very favorite inventions. You can seriously make anything from it! This is only the first i will post on here but more to come!!

1 jar of Mod Podge
1 dollar store picture frame
Foam brush (very cheap) or you can you any paint brush I guess
Scraps of paper ripped in pieces or fabric
Embellishments
Picture to fill it with

Crafty Monday

Lately I've become quite the crafty person.I think that it keeps me sane mostly and gives me drive. This purse was soooo simple, so I made it for Kymber (my cute little model)

Here are only a few of the many many hair clippies I've been making...

This is the bow holder i made to hold them all because I didnt want them all ruined and basically it was an excuse to be crafty. Not the best quality but it works for us. This was taken a while ago so not all   the   hair stuff I made is on it.

Super Saturday

All week I expected Saturday be a not so nice day.Weather wasn't looking too hopeful. That goes to show you to never trust the weather report on yahoo. It ended up being such a pretty day! Little chilly when the wind came up, but other than that. Perfect.
This Saturday just happened to be one of the nicest I've had in a while. It's not every day that I actually have a car to use whenever I want. My awesome brother went out of town for the weekend and kindly left his car for me to use whenever I want. Having Alan have work and school every single day and even school from 8-5 Saturdays has left e cripples with no car. I decided to take full advantage of this.I started the day off doing a much needed visit to my great grandparents Waters whom I haven't seen since Xander's baby blessing. For those of you figuring that one out...it's been hmmmm months? Yes. Bad granddaughter!
Lunch time! I treated Kymber and Xander to a lunch at McDonald's so that she could go play on all the slides.

After that I took the kids to Michael's so that I could find stuff to finish my crafty projects I've been getting into. That will prob be my next post.
After that I made plans to meet at the "Library Park" with my bestie Kristin and her kiddos since our kids are pretty much the same age. Seemed like it's be such a waste of good weather if we didn't make a stop at the park.NOW...what's the sun without an ice cream cone?? So I stopped at Barry's and got us all some. I stripped down Xander and let him go to town on the thing.

21 weeks and 2 days

I do love going to my OB appointments. And since I changed to the nurse mid wife clinic it's been nice to express how you feel without feeling completely like an idiot with a male Doctor saying its just pregnancy. You'll get over it basically.
Well, I've been having painful Braxton Hicks lately and I am not too happy with it. This early this hard? That's what I get for having my kids soo close in age. But being able to talk to the midwife about it made me feel better.
She offered to check me and make sure I wasn't dilated and gave me some pointers and told me to time them. They said they really don't want me to go into pre term labor. Finally someone who listens to me! Feels nice to be treated like a mom giving birth instead of another lady having yet another baby. if that makes any sense at all....
Blood pressure is great (as usual) and I now weigh 133.3 lbs. That makes a grand total of 12 lbs. gained but it sure feels like more. Goes so show you I'm all baby. Not that I'm complaining....maybe bragging as little? I'm allowed.
I would be posting a nice update pic on this belly of mine but nope. My camera went AWOL. Yes, poof! Gone. That is my life line and if its lost for good I will have to convince Alan to get me another one.
I can however post the pic of my new crib bedding I ordered online.
Something only a mom would appreciate and know why this is sooo exciting to me. 10 piece set for only 69$ And everything is reversible.

20 weeks and 2 days

Today we had our official 20 weeks gender U/S and yes, it is still a little boy!Since I now go to the nurse/ midwife clinic I have to go get my ultrasounds done at UVRMC. I know I said I'd never go there again due to the fact of not informing us of the problems on the first U/S we got but this we in a different part and going to New Beginnings is totally worth the change. Ultrasound says Im not measuring July 26 as a due date but keeping July 31... far from the Aug 4 due date I was given a while back! Also the baby is a few ounces shy of a pound!

No weight check this time (not that I'm too excited to know) just a good old check up on the baby. Here are the pics...

A mother's work is never done...

My Grandma Martha was known for her little cliches. Her frequent one was, "Many hands make light work!"

I don't think I'm made for for the corporate or retail world although I'd survive just fine and enjoy it fully. Staying home with my kids is the one thing I've wanted to do since I can even remember. School was never really an option in my eyes. This was my dream. Yes. My dream was snot noses, E.R. visits, terrible 2's and horrible 3's, and dirty diapers.
My day consists of getting up in the morning with an 'mommy I want cereal!!!" Asking every 2 min while I frantically try and change the worst possible diaper you could ever imagine coming from a cute little 9 1/2 month old boy, who is also yelling and if he could talk he's be saying, "Mom I want food!" Cereal is the easiest but when we don't have milk I'm soo grateful my Kymber loves oatmeal. And seriously what 3 yr old does?? Breakfast is over and majority of the time cereal ends up on the floor. My poor floor. When we get a house I will make sure it has tile or laminate floors.
Then channel 33 ( Kymber knows how to turn it to this by the way) Disney channel where I've seen these episodes about a million times but keeps the kids happy while I get some food too.A rarity around my house for me to eat in peace.
The rest of the day consists of laundry, dishes, cleaning and fighting with the 3 yr old on how many outfits she changes into every 10 min. My Xander is crawling now and has become quite the "needy baby". So he likes to be held if not distracted. Makes my work about ten times harder. Thank heavens when daddy comes home then Xander will have nothing to do with me. Daddy's boy 100%. yes, he wont even look at me when he around as if he'd be betraying Alan in some way. I try to grab him but he will swat at me and scream bloody murder.
No I am not complaining, but this does make it hard for Alan to help around the house which is much needed because by now my nerves are shot and am on edge. Oh, did I mention I am also 5 months pregnant??
I do love my husband, and even though I have to pick up his clothes from the bathroom every day and such I adore the heck out of him and I'd never wanna get rid of him. I so often tease him that it's cheaper to keep her, but we're inseparable no matter what the circumstances. Alan works and has school every night so him helping around the house hardly happens and when it does, well, it's not the way I usually do it. And it's pretty much easier for me to do it. So yes, I stress myself out on cleaning the house only to do it the very next day or day after.

Tale as old as time, A mother's work is never done.

HOWEVER, the hugs, kisses, bedtime stories, "mommy I love you!" and smiles are the best reward after a long day. As frustrated as I get, when 8:30 rolls along ans we say our prayers and I get that hug and kiss and Kymber asks "Mommy, Jesus watch over me?" I know that I must be doing something right.
