Imagine feeling so weak and tired all the time. Yep, that was me. There have been several times where I have almost passed out had it not been me praying that I'd be okay and have the strength to survive me till I got home. Sounds dramatic I know. But I did feel this way and that's what I'd do every time.
I could not quite figure it out. I was eating all the time so I knew it wasn't my lack of eating. I finally, with the push of my wonderful husband and family, called my OBGYN to figure out what the heck was wrong with me. I had a few options.
1. I was NOT eating the right amount of food I should be eating. WRONG. I was eating my snacks and meals as often as I could. Crossed that off.
2. She suggested I try drinking my fluids to see if it helps. I made a mental note to drink more water even if It made me run to the loo every 10 min.
3. My iron. This I was expecting because I had looked into it and was prepared. So I was told to come in soon to get my blood checked to check on my iron levels and see if I was low.
I finally went in last Wednesday after 2 whole days of plain just not having energy. As it turns out. Yes, IM STARTING TO BE ANEMIC! Hallelujah!!!! I'm crazy for being glad, I know. But I was so grateful I found out what was wrong with me and was glad there was the iron pill I could take to make me feel better again. I have to now get my blood checked every time I go into the doctor. So worth it I tell you! I'm still waiting for it to really start kicking in, but my body is starting to be nice to me and I'm starting to feel myself again.
Now the fun stuff.....
Alan felt little baby Xander for the first time yesterday (Monday) He was pretty excited and so was I. It's times like these that make the little glitches in pregnancy worth it. He's getting to be so active now. I have a bruise on one spot on my stomache where he loves to kick. Hurts to the touch. Tough guy!
Today, Tuesday I had regular OB appointment. Ive gained 16 pound in 8 weeks!! Nice. I still only weigh 141 lbs. Not too bad. oh and blood pressure perfect. Always had been.
She measured and I'm still measuring a week ahead of what I'm supposed to. So Ill be 24 weeks tomorrow but I'm measuring 25 weeks. I am excited because that means Ill be able to have this little guy a week or two early with no complications or worries. I did have Braxton Hicks contractions last night and was told to not push myself. Doctor Heather's orders: Chill out and take it easy. So my poor house will now be a wreck because I'm under strict orders not to over due myself. Which I can easily do being the OCD mom that I am. Another update in a few weeks!!

I have the most wonderful husband
Its obvious I can't sleep because it's 11:28 p.m. and Alan has been asleep now for over 2 hours. I know Ive posted alot of pictures lately, but I keep taking priceless ones I just had to share with the world. Ive decided I have the best husband in the world. Today Kymber would not let go of him and kept grabbing his hands telling him to come play with her in her room. I followed them and got the door slammed in my face. Literally. By Kymber might I add.
Was I mad? Nope. I busted up laughing. I guess mommy wasn't allowed to play. I'm the mommy right? I went in anyway and decided it was time for a Kodak moment and maybe even some black mail. Why you ask? Well here we go...

"Im a barbie girl, in the Barbie world, Life in plastic; it's fantastic...!"
...And Ken does a back flip **APPLAUSE**
This is getting serious. Good thing he's getting a son soon. Then it's GI joes and Tonka trucks!!!

First of many nights in the big girl bed
After many delayed days we've finally started training Kymber to sleep in the "Big Girl Bed". Hoping that she'll be weaned by the time baby Xander gets here. Yes, she's 2 yrs and 3 months old. Pretty late to be training her, BUT I'm selfish and like the convenience of putting her in a crib/play pen and know that she cant get up and out of bed. I like my sleep and I worry about her getting into stuff during the night.
So last night was her first night. She actually stayed in bed long enough to fall asleep. And stayed there all night. I'm sure it was luck this first night and will prob end up having problems. But the first attempt we (mostly I) succeded. And of course being the obsessed mom that I am just had to take a pictureof her first full night in her princess big girl bed. (Please dont mind the mess because we're still unpacking)

Belly at 21 weeks 3 days
Yes, another belly pic. 21 weeks and 3 days. Weird picture. I think I was laughing at Kymber.
I'm starting to feel him more and more every day. Yesterday was the first time I felt him move on the outside of my belly. Alan missed it and we spent a good half hour feeling my belly to catch a glimpse of little Xander. No success. He's getting the hiccups I'm sure of it. I feel weird twitches in my belly for a while and then they stop. They said my placenta is in the front of my stomach so it may be harder to feel movements. So far I've felt huge strong punches or kick and weird hiccups.

My beautiful growing family
Not new belly pictures yet but I do have some family ones. The dress I have on makes me look bigger than I really am. Belly pictures to come!
At our super messy apartment downstairs
All moved in!
Finally finished unpacking ans starting to settle into our new place. Moved back to good old Spanish Fork. Back to my home ward. We lost our deposit on our other place because we left before our contract was up. A sacrifice we both decided was a good one to make. This way we'll be close to family when Alan is away at the academy and away on the weekends he goes to guard. And if I go into labor while Alan is gone I have the family really close. REALLY CLOSE! My brother and his wife are upstairs in this little house. Its so nice. And very comforting.
Another good things is that I have friends close by like Kristen so when we both have our kids, in the summer we can go take them to the park to play.
