New Years this year was so much fun. For once we actually did something instead of be "old" and end our night at 10, because we can't keep our eyes open for the life of us. We got invited to go up to Alan's sister's in West Haven for the new years and have a partay! Alan's parents reserved a hotel for us so we stayed in it with them. Much better than driving home at midnight! It was a super nice hotel, but I guess anything is nice to us because we don't get out much...
The whole night was full of food an Beatles Rock Band. And yes, I was very disappointed by it. They didn't have the classic songs on it like, "Hey Jude", But we did have fun. 6 hours of Beatles Rock Band fun. Even his mom got into it. She knew every single word.
Although I was pretty sick for most the night, I still had one of the best New Years I've had in a long time. Maybe ever. I still missed my mom and step dad's annual Gumbo night for New Years. Maybe next year!
